The countdown is on! The Penn FTD Center’s annual Caregiver Conference is just around the corner– make sure to register today!
Friday, June 14th, 2019
8am – 4:30pm
University of Pennsylvania – Main Campus
Rubenstein Auditorium – Smilow Center
The Penn FTD Center’s annual Caregiver Conference is for people with FTD and related conditions such as ALS and corticobasal degeneration, their caregivers, family and friends to access information and support. With presentations from leading experts in neuropsychology, clinical care, genetics and cognitive neuroscience, participants get the latest research-based insights and information about innovative treatments and diagnostics offered at Penn. We aim to empower caregivers by highlighting practical strategies for caregiving. Presentations will address everyday challenges and concerns, including legal considerations related to FTD, and you’ll have a chance to network with other caregivers and advocates. Click here to see the schedule of presentations and plan your day!
Thanks to your feedback, we are including more break-out sessions this year so you can tailor your experience to include more personally relevant information. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about specific clinical diagnoses and can join discussions of specific caregiving challenges.
Thanks to generous donations from people like you, we are able to offer this event for family caregivers, health professionals, scientists, students and anyone with an interest in FTD free of charge! A complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided to everyone who registers in advance. Click here to register today!
